During the holy month of Saka Dawa (Vesak), Gaden Samdrupling Monastery will offer a Cittamani Tara Retreat.
Vesak is celebrated around the world by Buddhist as the holiest month of the year. During this month on full moon day Buddha Shakyamuni was born, attained enlightenment, and entered Parinirvana. Our Abbot and Spiritual Teacher Venerable Kuten Lama will offer a Cittamani (Green) Tara empowerment (Jenang) and lead the retreat.
