Gaden Samdrupling Monastery is very blessed and honored to announce the upcoming visit of one of the most renowned and revered Buddhist Teacher His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Choktrul Rinpoche on November 22 and 23, 2023.
During this visit, His Holiness will bless the new monastery and bestow the White Heruka Long Life initiation and oral transmission on Lamp on the Path (Lam-rim)
This is a very rare opportunity to receive this Initiation and oral transmission from the His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Choktrul Rinpoche. We invite all our sangha members and Dharma friends community around the world to join us for these auspicious events.
His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche is the eighteenth in a lineage of eminent Indian and Tibetan masters and 4th in the line of Trijang Rinpoches. The supreme reincarnation was born on October 15 1982 in a Tibetan family in Dalhousie, Northern India and was officially recognized by His Holiness the 14th. Dalai Lama on April 23, 1985. Rinpoche has completed his primary studies under his root guru H.E. Kyabje Lati Rinpoche and Kyabje Dagom Rinpoche. Presently Rinpoche is doing further studies under the guidance of H.E. Dagpo Rinpoche, H.E. Yongyal Rinpoche.
As the Spiritual Director of the Trijang Buddhist Institute, he will guide the Institute’s activities and programs for the public, for ordained monks and nuns, and for future lay teachers whose Dharma training is anticipated in coming years
