Many of us experience great challenges that cause suffering from the loss of loved ones. We always wonder how to deal with it. Venerable Jamyang Lama, our resident monk, offers a Buddhist perspective on the process of Grief and how to deal with Loss and finding healing.

Meditation Class
Date: September 12 (Friday) at 7 PM
Calming and focusing our mind is difficult with the competing demands of family, work, and other activities. Just 10 minutes of meditation can help quiet our crazy thoughts, creating an oasis of peace amid a hectic day. Developing this simple practice will make it possible to develop the mindfulness so we have a calm mind all the time.
Lama Choepa (Offering to Spiritual Guide) Practice Commentary
Date: October 3, 4, and 5 (Friday through Sunday)
Hours: 10 AM to 5 PM daily
This is a rare opportunity to receive the complete commentary for the Lama Choepa practice offered by the monastery’s Abbot and Spiritual Director, Venerable Gashe Kuten Lama. Lama Choepa is heart and main daily practice of all the Buddhist practitioner. Lama Choepa involves make offering to spiritual Teacher, requesting blessings and meditation on all the stages of the path to Enlightenment.
Everyone is welcome, however, attendance for all three days is required to participate.
Lunch will be offered. RVSP required.
